Abundant Life Children's Home - Providing a safe, loving home environment for the foster and respite care of physically and mentally challenged, chronic or terminally ill children. American Red Cross Chisholm Trail Chapter - Helping Wise County residents "prepare for and respond to emergencies" by providing emergency assistance to victims of house fires and other disasters, emergency communications for military personnel and their families and health and safety training in First Aid, CPR, Water Safety etc. Boy Scouts of America, Longhorn Council - Outdoor, craft and recreational activities encouraging character development, leadership and service to others Camp Fire USA, First Texas Council - Exciting and challenging activities to help boys and girls grow and develop into caring, self-directed individuals Changing Course Foundation, Inc. - Serving "at risk" youth through provision of programs in schools and the juvenile justice system to improve teamwork, communication, decision-making, goal setting, leadership skills and self-esteem. Child Study Center - Provides diagnosis & treatment services to children who have, or are at risk for developmental disabilities, related behavioral, emotional or dental problems CASA of Wise & Jack Counties, Inc. - Serves as an independent voice in court for abused & neglected children. CASA volunteers are trained and court appointed to serve as advocates in court for these children. Communities in Schools of North Texas, Inc. - Provides drop-out prevention and stay-in-school services to at-risk and economically disadvantaged students in schools in Denton and Wise counties. Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, Inc. - Girl Scouts builds girls with courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. ReadyStart - Provides Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Services to children birth to three years of age who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Home-based services provided. Reata Rehabilitation - Provides physical and occupational therapy, utilizing hippotherapy (horse therapy), to assist each client in achieving an improved quality of life, regardless of their financial resources. Salvation Army - Food, medicine, health aids, utilities, emergency support, emergency relief for travelers. Southwestern Diabetic Foundation - Provides rehabilitation and education training for boys and girls with diabetes. South Wise Services - Food pantry, clothing and other assistance as funds are available. STAR Council on Substance Abuse - STAR Council offers intensive and supportive outpatient treatment for adults and supportive outpatient treatment for adolescents. TAPS - A demand-response transportation system providing transportation to persons of all ages. Texas Neighborhood Services - Emergency intervention and energy assistance Trinity Habitat for Humanity - Trinity Habitat builds quality, affordable houses in partnership with low-income families and dedicated sponsors and volunteers who represent community partners. Each family qualifies for the program on the basis of need for housing, willingness to partner with Habitat and ability to make monthly house payments. Wise County 4-H - Youth educational and leadership development. Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center - Providing free services to the community, offering unconditional love and acceptance, direction and suppor for women of all ages who are pregnant or facing a relational crisis. Wise Area Relief Mission (WARM) - Provides food pantry,referral & information services, and limited financial assistance for utilities and prescripations when funds are available.

TMWise County Committee on Aging, Inc. - Operates Meals-on-Wheels program providing home delivered meals to homebound seniors. Provides transportation services for seniors. Operates Alvord Senior Citizen Center. Wise County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse - Education, counseling and referral for substance abuse. Wise County Domestic Violence Task Force - Provides ssistance for victims of family violence, 24-hour crisis line, legal advocacy, referrals, individual and group counseling services available. Materials and support groups are available in Spanish. Wise Kid Care, Inc - Care for abused/abandoned children. Christmas gifts to needy youth, counseling and education.
