Regular Board Meeting  (1Q review, Admissions & Allocations Committee appointments and schedule, GT final planning, PBR final planning)

UWWC Golf Tournament, The Resort at Eagle Mountain (Friday afternoon) (will need prizes, volunteers, 24-26 teams)

May 24

WC Challenger PBR Event (Saturday night) (will need business/corporate sponsors, civic clubs/groups volunteers, UWWC concession stand workers, etc.)

Agency review meetings with Admissions & Allocations Committee (long evenings!)
(4-5 meetings, develop allocation plan for next year)

July 18/25

Regular Board Meeting (2Q review, Allocations Budget approval, Campaign Planning)

Aug. 1 Begin Pacesetter Campaign (early pledging group contacts)
Sept. 4 Kick-off Event (maximum publicity, agency participation, keynote address, rah-rah-rah!!)
Oct. 17 or 24 Regular Board Meeting (3rd Quarter review, Campaign progress/publicity)
Dec. 1 Campaign officially ends. (so our agencies are free to hold their own public fundraisers)
(Board may need to meet, depending on campaign results at this point…hope not!)
Jan. 23 , 2009 Regular Board Meeting (4th Quarter review, campaign review, 2008 nominations approved, etc.)

These meetings will be held at the Decatur Chamber of Commerce building at 308 W. Main Street in Decatur (across parking lot west of Wells Fargo Bank downtown branch). Parking will be available directly behind (north side of) the building off of Walnut Street. Please enter through the door on the north side of the building. Each agency is allocated a total of 30 minutes for presentation and questions. If possible, please arrive a little early so we may be able to stay on schedule. Please notify Martin Woodruff at 940-393-1420 if an emergency situation arises the day of your scheduled meeting and you will not be able to appear on schedule. Thank you!
