Reata Rehabilitation

Reata Rehabilitation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering physical and occupational therapy to adults and children in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. We are located on a ranch setting in Ponder, Texas, where we provide the best of traditional therapy along with a fairly unique opportunity: Hippotherapy - the use of the horse as a therapy tool.

Our mission is to provide physical and occupational therapy, utilizing hippotherapy, to assist each client in achieving an improved quality of life, regardless of their financial resources.

Our emphasis is on clients with neurologic involvement such as Cerebral Palsy, spasticity, Traumatic Brain Injury, Sensory Integration problems, strokes, MS, partial paralysis, developmental delay, Autism and related disorders, gait and movement difficulties, and similar problems.

Our facilities at Reata Rehabilitation include an indoor arena, outdoor arenas, trail ride areas, two large therapy rooms with mats, toys, a treadmill, lots of equipment for developmental activities, stretching barrels, steps, a ramp, and an indoor waiting area as well as bleachers in the arena. Visit our website at www.reatarehabilitation.org.
