| HISTORY Beverly Ross received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, and was a professional educator for twelve years. During that time she became a certified Practical Parenting presenter. In 2001, she received a Master's degree from Amberton University in Counseling. Shortly thereafter she became a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. As a part of a ministry in North Dallas and Grapevine, her caseload began to reflect a need for a counselor in Decatur. WiseCCC opened its doors on June 1, 2006, as part of the Tommy Maddox Foundation. By July 1, 2007, WiseCCC had received 501c3 non-profit status on its own.
| STATISTICS Since July 1, 2007, Beverly has been blessed to serve and minister to over 110 different family units in Wise County, representing 160 children. Client fees average $40 per session, with 36 clients being seen at no cost. Referrals come from churches, doctors, nurses, rehabilitation clinics, schools, probation offices, Wise County Domestic Task Force, Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center, CPS and former clients. Also, there are several local employers that encourage their employees to take advantage of these services as needs arise. Clients are encouraged to pay on a sliding scale from $0-$100. The suggested fee is that for every $10,000 the client's household brings home a year, the client is asked to pay $10 a session, up to $100. (EX: If a client makes $50,000, they are encouraged to pay $50 a session.) Services are never refused because of finances.
